• Clean the walls of any dust, grease and dirt so you can have a clean and smooth wall ready for paint application. You can use a simple mixture of dishwashing detergent mixed with water and a cellulose sponge to apply and wash the walls, then rinse them with water carefully to remove any of the soap residue left behind.

• Apply the paint in a W pattern when you work. This will help you coverage more area and ensure less streaking. Make a W and then rollover the W again without lifting the roller.

• Paint the trim once the walls are completely dry. You will first need to tape the area where the trim meets the wall with masking tape. Paint the mouldings carefully with an angled brush and avoid going out of bounds while you work.
