When your house is under attack…

Then you need to bust out the big guns.

Though dust bunnies may not seem that dangerous, in the harsh winter months, they can turn into monster, mutant-sized, killer bunnies set to attack your homes across multiple levels.

When the windows are closed and doors aren’t opened regularly, the dust that escapes daily from your vents becomes breathable air, which is never good for business. This is especially true if you have hardwood floors, as the dust forms dust bunnies and cycles into the air instead of getting trapped in carpet fibers.

So free your hardwood of killer bunnies: Sweep your floors regularly with either a dust mop or a broom with exploded tips that will trap dust and dirt instead of spreading it around. Vacuum often with a special hardwood attachment. Put doormats at the entrances of your home to catch dirt and dust, and make sure to clean them regularly.

Show those dust bunnies who’s boss. They’re only bunnies. And you’ve got that crazy look in your eye.

  1. I do not want to have dust bunny’s in my house that would just be terrible. If your dust bunny’s get to bad then you will probably need home improvement because those dust bunny’s can destroy your house. Home improvement is always a nice thing to have because everyone loves change. every once in a while.

  2. Great voice in this post! Even though dust bunnies can seem like a joke or an insignificant nuisance, they can put a real damper on your business. No, they’re not going to completely tank your company’s reputation, but they can be a big turn-off for new customers. And they can also signal to repeat customers that you’re not doing so well. The cleanliness and overall appearance of your workplace are highly reflective of your business’s health and situation. Don’t let your space get so dusty that the reflection is murky.

  3. I was a little confused when you started out, I thought you were trying to tell me there was a species of bunny actually called the Dust Bunny. but if it’s just air circulation problems then I think I can handle those dust bunnies.

  4. Sweeping regularly is really helpful when it comes to controlling the dust in your house. I have found that the more I sweep the less of a problem I have with it.

  5. bunnies are cute, just not up your nose. I can’t live in a place that has too much dander or dust bunnies. I would totally tile a whole place just so there is nothing to hide in the carpet.

  6. Because I have such severe allergies, I have to clean my house more often and more thoroughly than most people do. Dust bunnies are really bad for people like me so I usually have someone come in and do supplement cleaning just to be safe.

  7. That bunny is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. I just want to hold it up to my face and cuddle it! How adorable! My brain is now broken from the excessive cuteness!

  8. It seems like that is what spring cleaning is for isn’t it? I just don’t get why people get dust bunnies to the point of it damaging things in their home. It just takes some consistent cleaning…but who am I to judge, my house isn’t the cleanest. But thanks for the information.

  9. Thanks for the article, the picture of the bunny is adorable! You’re right about those dust bunnies, especially if there is some kind of basement finishing or other remodeling project going on. I have a friend who likes to have those work on those projects in the winter when people are more housebound and she literally hired a bunch of teenagers to come and clean her house up before the new year because so much dust had accumulated.

  10. If dust bunnies were as cute as the one in the picture, I would be tempted to leave them alone! But seriously, dust bunnies are gross and can ruin carpet and things. Keeping a clean home is a must. All that dust in the air can also be really bad for your health.

  11. I completely agree with you about the dust bunnies. I get allergies and the winter is the worst time of year for me as the dust enters our house and stays put, making me sneeze like a maniac. At least the roofing Oklahoma City companies do makes it easier to keep my roof from caving in!
